Its that time of year when the ground outside my store is too frozen to get our ‘open’ sign in the ground far enough.  Its maddening because we know we miss several of you who look for the sign to see if we are in. 

We’ve moved the sign upstairs to one of our front windows.  So look up!  and tell your friends to that you know shop at Scrap-To-It! to Look up!

Our phone number (636-970-9784) is also on the front window near the sign with the light in a bright red star burst.  Our phone is mobile so if we by chance are not in due to weather (or even if it is our day off) we will still be able to get all our store phone calls.

We try very hard to stick to our store hours — no matter the weather.  At times we will delay opening until the plow comes through so we can get out of our subdivision.  If you are ever in question — just give us a call. 

** additional note — tomorrow’s card class may be adjusted depending on how much snow hits us tonight and tomorrow morning.  Please call the store if you are scheduled for tomorrow’s class and leave your contact number on the voice mail so that we can update you on any start delays or re-scheduling.   Cross your fingers that all goes well and we can get together to play.  It is going to be an awesome class!!!

I am so excited to introduce this month, Basic Grey’s new Page of the Month project.  With a STI! twist we will be turning this monthly project into a brunch and supper club.

The program runs each month during 2009 with a wrap up party at the end of the year.  The focus is YOU.  The intent is to really document the quirky and sometimes too-well hidden parts of you, the scrapbooker/photographer.  Most of the time we do not focus on ourselves as scrappers.  This year, move around to the other side of the camera a bit and learn to get a shot or two of you — along with pics of the things that tell who you are and what you are about. 

This is going to be an awesome project.  Don’t miss out!  Space is limited.
