We love May for so many reasons – but this year we are especially excited because of National Scrapbook Day.  We are planning to move our project to the weekend following the official day.  May 8 and 9th will be the days to celebrate at STI!  May 9th we will be featuring Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Make ‘n Take.  Mark your calendars for a fun day at STI!  More details to follow!

It is almost the middle of April and no newsletters have been distributed from STI! this month! (Shame on me!)  Between Easter and taxes and life I seem to be in ‘The hurrier I go, the behinder I get’ time frame.  I’m hoping to catch up soon!

Truth is, we have been busy putting a lot of plans together for the upcoming months.  Let me highlight a few.

1.  The Scrap-To-It! T’s are on display.  I’m taking orders for them now.  Stop by and take a look.  The proceeds of these will help support my niece’s humanitarian trip to Ghana this summer.  The shirts are dang cute and are all handmade.

2.  We have two more Teresa Collins classes in the works.  Journal It Girl, a 7×12 mini album and Haute Cuisine.   We hope to have these plans formulated with samples and dates  up on the website soon.

3.  We also have two card classes in the works.  Our Fabulous Karen will be teaching a class featuring several all-occassion card projects.  We are also beginning a weekly drop-in class each Tuesday morning where we will feature one card project with a different technique each week.  We will post more details and pricing on this project soon. 

4.  Next month, May is National Scrapbooking Month.  Many of you will be celebrating on May 2nd in various places.  STI! plans to have several events throughout the month with sales and MNTs.  We will be featuring an awesome project from Tattered Angels the second weekend in May.  Again, keep your eye on our newsletters for more details.  If you are not receiving these newsletter send us an e-mail at shop.scraptoit@yahoo.com with “newsletter request” in the subject line.  We will be placing coupons and other special offers in the newsletter from time to time.  If you aren’t on the list — you should be!

1.  Zva Creative, a manufacturer of awesome gems and bling patterns will be here this week.

2.  May Arts, our favorite ribbon vendor is sending us an awesome new selection of ribbons for our spring and summer projects.

3.  7 Gypsies, Tattered Angels, Teresa Collins and many more exciting projects, papers and embellishments are scheduled to arrive soon.

As always, we do take special orders on products you are looking for but are not currently stocked at STI!  Give us a call or e-mail and we’ll hunt down the item you are needing for you.

Spring and summer at STI! promise to be full of fun projects and great products.  We hope to have many of you spending some of your time here with us.

We have been having so much fun here at STI! the past few weeks that I have forgotten (almost) about my weblog here at the web site.

Our classes at STI! are a blast with busy and involved projects, many of them turning into fun workshops where we all get in some great project work and fun chatting.  If you aren’t attending class you are missing out on the fun.  Stop on by and take a class with us — we have more great ones in the works.

Just as a reminder — we will be closing early today, Saturday April 11th to attend family Easter celebrations.  We wish you all a blessed Easter and hope and pray that Spring brings to your home and family much to be joyful for.

Store hours today will be from 10:30 – 2:00.  We will be back in the store on Tuesday at regular hours.
